In the sun-kissed heartlands of the Limpopo Province in South Africa, where vibrant hues of green and red dance under the warm sun, a remarkable twist of fate unfolded, giving birth to an enchanting tale of culinary delight – the PEPPADEW® Remba Pepper.
Once upon a time, amidst the sprawling pepper fields, a diligent grower named Fanie wandered through his crop, tending to each plant with care and devotion. It was on one radiant morning that he stumbled upon a sight that took his breath away – a solitary pepper plant bearing fruit of a hue unlike any he had seen before. A bewitching shade of yellow, as if the sun had decided to leave a golden kiss upon its skin.
Gently plucking the unique yellow pepper, he decided to protect this golden gem from the crowd of its red and orange siblings. He meticulously collected the seeds from the yellow pepper, treating them as precious treasures. With a tender touch, he planted them in a secluded corner of the field. With each passing day, the yellow variant grew more robust, its unique flavour and vibrant appearance setting it apart from other peppers.
The yellow variant was soon known as the “Remba Pepper”. And so, the legacy of the PEPPADEW® Remba Pepper was born…
