Stir-fried beef fillets


with Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers

This impressive stir-fry could not be quicker - perfect for an impromptu dinner party or a special midweek supper.

Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers

Method

  1. Heat the wok over high heat. Add 1/2 of the oil and swirl to coat. Add meat and garlic in batches and stir-fry for 2 minutes, removing each batch after frying.
  2. Add remaining oil and fry onion until translucent. Return meat to wok and add the Peppadew® and brine, oyster sauce and chopped mint leaves. Cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the whole mint leaves. Serve with rice.

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 750g beef fillet, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small red onion, cut into wedges
  • 8 Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers, quartered
  • 1 dessertspoon Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers Brine (juice)
  • 100ml oyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves
  • 5 to 10 whole mint leaves
