Halloween Stuffed Peppers

with Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers

These Halloween Stuffed Peppers are the perfect fuel for the whole family, before an evening of trick or treating.

Hot Peppadew® Piquanté Peppers


  1. Slice the top off the bell peppers and remove the insides. Carve to the spooky design of your choice, but don’t remove too much of the pepper or the filling will fall out.
  2. Boil the quinoa for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the halloumi and courgette (zucchini) until just browned. When done, remove from the heat and add the salt, pepper and garlic. Toss in the frying pan to mix.
  4. Drain the quinoa and add the halloumi and courgette to it and mix together.
  5. Stuff the spooky peppers with the quinoa mix and the Peppadew® Piquante Peppers and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.

  • 2 bell peppers
  • 130g / 0.5 cup quinoa
  • Half a courgette (zucchini), chopped
  • 75g halloumi, cut into cubes
  • 4 Peppadew® Piquanté Hot Peppers, diced
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 0.5 tsp each of salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
